The 八方 (bā fāng) the eight points of the old bāguà compass are folded into this piece. Two faces, two intentions. Turn whichever one the day asks for.
The front face. Turn it outward to draw fortune inward from every quarter of the compass, toward you.
The reverse face. A full string of coins, wanting for nothing turn it outward to hold what you've gathered.
